When I first met my husband, Shawn, I wanted to give him something special for his birthday, the first one we were celebrating together as a couple. I made him a postcard, shared copies with our closest friends, and asked them to send back their favorite memories of him. The response was awesome! Our friends really came through, sending postcards full of personality, stories, and stamps from afar, which trickled into his mailbox for an entire year. That simple gesture soon became a tradition. a way to mark the big moments in our lives and share them with the people we love.
